Former U.S. Senator Pete Domenici To Lead Effort

Albuquerque – Governor-elect Susana Martinez today announced the honorary chairman and executive director of the Governor-Elect Martinez Inaugural Committee.  These individuals will work to ensure that the inauguration of Governor-elect Martinez and Lieutenant Governor-elect John Sanchez is an opportunity for New Mexicans to share in the historical significance, and celebrate a bold and new beginning.

Former United States Senator Pete Domenici will serve as honorary chairman and Andrea Goff will serve as executive director of the Governor-Elect Martinez Inaugural Committee.

PETE DOMENICI, CHAIR

Pete V. Domenici served as a New Mexico’s Senator longer than any other person in the state’s history – 36 years.  Domenici served as chairman and ranking minority member of the Senate Budget Committee, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and Appropriations Sub-Committee of Energy and Water Development.  Domenici has a record of unparalleled service to the state, and his tenure is marked by his ability to unite New Mexicans.

ANDREA GOFF

Andrea Goff is an independent fundraiser.  Goff has served numerous political candidates, most recently Congressman Steve Pearce, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Congressman Darrell Issa, among others.  She is originally from San Diego and was listed in San Diego Magazine as one of the “50 People to Watch for 2001.”  She lives in Hobbs with her husband Jason where they raise two children and co-own Goff Dairy.
